Privacy Policy
Effective: May 6, 2026
Last updated: May 6, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how ProgressRx ("ProgressRx," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the ProgressRx mobile application and related services (the "Service"). ProgressRx is a wellness and tracking app designed to help people on GLP-1 medications log doses, symptoms, and progress over time. ProgressRx is not a medical device and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
1. Overview
We aim to collect only what we need to make the app useful, to keep your information secure, and to give you meaningful control. This policy describes what we collect, why we collect it, who processes it on our behalf, and the choices you have.
2. Information we collect
The categories of information we may collect include:
- Account information. Your email address and sign-in identifiers used to create and access your account, including identifiers provided by Apple if you use Sign in with Apple.
- Profile and onboarding information. The medication you are taking, dose, treatment cadence, start or last-dose date, and baseline values such as weight or measurements that you choose to enter.
- Health and wellness logs. Treatment logs (injections or pills, dose, date, and injection site where applicable), symptom and digestion notes, weight and body measurements, meal and nutrition entries (such as protein, fiber, and water), and injection-reaction notes that you choose to record.
- Meal and dining information. Restaurant or location searches you perform within the app, and meal photos if you choose to upload or capture them.
- Messages and coaching content. Inputs and responses within guided conversations or coaching threads inside the app.
- Subscription information. Purchase and entitlement status received from Apple and our subscription provider. We do not collect or store full payment card numbers.
- Device and app information. Information such as app version, device type and operating system version, language, and basic diagnostic, performance, or crash data needed to keep the app running reliably.
- Notification preferences. Reminder and notification settings you choose inside the app.
- Optional Apple Health data. If you enable an Apple Health integration, we may read or write the specific data categories you authorize. You can revoke this access at any time in iOS Settings.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide and operate the app and its features.
- Save and sync your logs and history across your devices.
- Personalize reminders, insights, patterns, and guided content.
- Support subscriptions, premium access, and restore purchases.
- Improve reliability, troubleshoot issues, and keep the Service secure.
- Respond to support requests.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
4. Health and sensitive data
Some of the information you log in ProgressRx may be health-related or otherwise sensitive (for example, medication, doses, symptoms, weight, or measurements). ProgressRx is not intended for emergencies, does not provide medical advice, and is not a substitute for professional care. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number. For any medical question, please contact your clinician.
5. How we share information
We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Service, when required by law, to protect safety or security, or with your consent. The categories of service providers we use include:
- Authentication and database providers (for example, Supabase) to create your account, sign you in, and store your logs.
- Subscription and purchase providers (Apple and our subscription management provider, such as RevenueCat) to process in-app purchases and manage entitlements.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers (for example, Cloudflare) for our website.
- Mapping or dining data providers (for example, Google Places or similar) if you use restaurant search or dining features.
- Artificial intelligence providers, where we use AI features, to generate summaries, suggestions, or guided messages from your inputs.
- Email and customer-support providers we use to respond to your messages.
We do not sell your personal health information. We do not use your personal health information for third-party advertising. We do not share your information except to operate the Service, comply with the law, protect rights, safety, or security, or with your consent.
6. AI features
ProgressRx may use artificial intelligence to generate summaries, insights, or guided messages based on the information you log. AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete and is not medical advice. Always verify health-related decisions with your clinician.
7. Photos and camera (meal logging)
Photos in ProgressRx are optional and are used to support meal logging. If enabled, photos you capture or upload may be processed to help generate meal notes or estimates. You can always choose not to add a photo and you can revoke camera access in iOS Settings at any time.
8. Location and dining
If you use dining features, we may use your device location, or an address or postal code you enter, to surface nearby restaurants and dining guidance. Where the app supports manual entry, you can avoid sharing precise location by entering a location yourself. You can also revoke location access in iOS Settings at any time.
9. Notifications and reminders
Local and push notifications are optional. You control them in the app and in iOS Settings. Turning notifications off does not affect your ability to use the rest of the Service.
10. Data retention and deletion
We retain your account information and logs while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by emailing johnsmith@recreateapp.com or, where supported in the app, by using in-app account deletion. After a deletion request, we may retain limited information for a short period for backup, security, fraud prevention, legal, or accounting purposes. Records of App Store purchases are managed by Apple and are subject to Apple's policies.
11. Your choices and rights
You can:
- Access and update much of your information from inside the app.
- Turn notifications on or off in the app and in iOS Settings.
- Manage or cancel your subscription in iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data via support email or in-app account deletion where available.
- Revoke camera, photos, location, or Apple Health permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws, such as the right to access, correct, or delete personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at johnsmith@recreateapp.com.
12. Children
ProgressRx is not directed to children under 13, or under the minimum age required by applicable law in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
13. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
14. International users
Your information may be processed in the United States or in other locations where our service providers operate. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those locations.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes may also be communicated in the app.
